To: America From: A Christian
Jesus floods my soul tonight. He brings the passion of prayer to my heart, that brings me to my knees, time and time again. His blood flows boundlessly with love. It washes me and takes away every sin. Hold me high, oh Lord, my Christ. So, that I may and eventually pull away from my worldly lifestyle and selfish lies. Bring me a new life, and a new light. Bring me generosity and kindness. Make my fire inside glow with your will and might. After all, if tomorrow I must fight, I shall surely die for what is right. America, where have you gone? You have been my home for so long. Why now do you turn your back on the life that built this country? Christianity. Why should you outcast God? All for a life of vanity? Possibly, world obsessed insanity? You have dropped your grapes and stepped away from the vine, into a grass patch homeland. A land that cannot see salvation. The home of the grave of Christianity. I love America as much as the next patriot. However, what will come of this country if we aren't careful? Carry me, oh Lord, for I am in troubled times and waters. Bring tomorrow for me, please? I want to show my homeland the sleaze they've become. I want to tell my fellow Americans what they've done. Bring me not into temptation. Media, let go of my hand, my eyes, and ears if you have nothing good to say. I want my Lord's sight. I see it no other way. Jesus is coming back someday. I want to be ready when he comes. I want you standing there with me when he brings us to our new homes. So, join me, fellow person, sinner, Christian. Give your life to the original owner. Christ will show you the way. He is already knocking. Answer, listen and hear what to you is given. Forgiveness, salvation, white as snow. You are cleansed, sinless. Thank you, Lord, for this clean slate. As I never knew you before, now I see. We Christians are fishers of men; rod, reel, and bait.
